Rescue! Sermon Series in the Book of Exodus
Have you ever been rescued? That is: Gotten into a situation that required the assistance of someone else to get you out? I remembered a day in my youth, when another man and myself were working in a open drench installing storm sewer pipes. The trench was deep and over our heads. Without warning, the sides of the trench caved in, covering my co-workers and myself up to the top of our shoulders. Our heads were above the dirt and we could breathe, but we could not get out on our own. We had to be rescued.
Beginning in May, I will begin a new series of messages that I have entitled “Rescue”. We are going to look at the book of Exodus and find the many times where God brings about a rescue of His people. This is a relevant story for we still need God to come to our rescue. Join us each Sunday morning at 10:45 AM and find out how God desires to come into your life and “rescue” you!
